Care Assistant

Shifts:Full Time – 2:1 Days & Nights (8 am – 8 pm | 8 pm- 8 am) 2-3 Shifts Per Week

Driver required: Yes – full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

What you\’ll do

The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• PEG feeds (PEJ)
• Daily suctioning.
• Monitoring the client\’s condition for seizures.

Qualifications

What you\’ll need

Experience required prior to being interviewed:

Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• Intermittent catheter care.
• Suctioning machines.
• PEJs
