Job Description:
The client is a young gentleman in his teens who has Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay & PICA. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and has a strong emotional resilience to join our existing team where no two days are the same. Your day-to-day would include providing personal care, infection control and constant supervision to ensure a safe environment at all times at home and in the community.
Qualifications:
Experience in complex care is essential for this position, inclusive of the following:
- Knowledge of Autism or ADHD
- The ability to read social cues of non-verbal clients.
- The ability to interpret body language or to use visual aids such as PECS.
- Consistency, emotional resilience & the ability to build trust.
