Personal Carer Opportunity – Supporting a Young Man with Spinal Injury
Are you a caring, positive, and motivated individual who wants to make a real difference in someone’s life?
We are looking for adedicated carerto support ayoung manwho sustained aspinal injury following a car accident. He is working towards rebuilding his confidence and independence, and needs someone who can offer bothpractical assistanceandemotional encouragement.
About the Role:
You will provide support with daily activities of living, including:
- Personal care and mobility assistance
- Meal preparation and light domestic tasks
- Accompanying him to appointments or social activities
- Encouraging and supporting him to engage in hobbies and positive activities
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and helping maintain a positive outlook
Qualifications
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
- Has agood sense of humourand anuplifting attitude
- Able to motivate and empower others
- Respectful of privacy and dignity at all times
- Experience supporting people with spinal injuries or low mood is desirable but not essential — the right attitude matters most!
