Position Summary
Under the direction of the LPN Case Manager or designate, the Health Care Aide assists clients with all activities of daily living, addressing physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and cultural needs and interests in accordance with Care At Home Services' policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities such as bathing, washing, bowel and bladder care, bed making, dressing, nails, oral, skin, and hair hygiene.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Nursing program that includes a Dementia Care component or completion of a recognized Dementia Care program.
- Registered and in good standing with the Care Aide Registry.
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check for working with vulnerable adults.
- Meets the physical requirements for the role.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification.
- First Aid and CPR βAβ certification.
- A minimum of one year related experience preferred.
