About the Role

We are recruiting self‑employed clinicians as CYP Assessors who can attend in‑person training and sign‑off events in Canary Wharf. The role focuses on delivering ADHD and ASC assessments for children and young people, creating individualized assessment reports, and supporting clients throughout the assessment journey.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD/ASC assessments using interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.
  • Develop detailed assessment reports and recommend treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless assessment experience.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients during the assessment journey.
  • Stay current with ADHD and Autism research and best practices and integrate this knowledge into assessments.
  • Manage multiple assessments efficiently while working remotely.

Optional Additional Paid Work

  • Triage ADHD medication requests to ensure clinical appropriateness and safety.
  • Manage prescription issuance for adults, ensuring alignment with treatment plans and clinical guidance.
  • Facilitate future in‑person sign‑off training events.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Psychiatry, Nursing, Pharmacy) and mental health experience.
  • Registered with one of the following professional bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Medical Council (GMC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or Social Work England (SWE).
  • Strong understanding of ADHD, Autism, and related mental health challenges, including diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and rapport‑building skills.
  • Collaborative approach – capable of working well with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to report‑write with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset, comfortable with change, and eager to contribute to a growing service.
  • Proficiency in using technology to improve efficiency.
  • Degree level or above education.
  • Hold an ADHD assessment, ADOS‑2, or ADI‑R qualification (preferred).
  • Experience in ADHD or Autism clinical assessment and familiarity with ADHD medication protocols.
  • Comfortable managing own clinic time efficiently while working remotely.
  • Knowledge of harm minimisation in drug treatment work.
