✨Join Us at The Centre for ADHD Research and Excellence: Shaping the Future of Accessible Healthcare✨

At CARE ADHD, we\’re revolutionising private healthcare by making ADHD assessments and treatment more affordable and accessible to those who need it. Our client-centred approach, combined with lean methodology and a focus on continuous improvement, drives our commitment to excellence. We embrace an innovative mindset, encouraging rapid learning and adaptation through our \’fail fast\’ ethos. With ambitious plans to become the largest ADHD service provider outside the NHS within the next five years, we are committed to pushing boundaries and fostering innovation.

We’re only 18 months old – but in that time, we’ve achieved remarkable 40x hyper growth while maintaining gold standard clinical care.

The need is very real. The positive impact we have is immediate. And we’re just getting started.

Now it’s time for a significant cultural and operational shift: from being a smart, high-quality healthcare service to becoming genuinely product‑led, deeply human‑centred, and outcomes‑driven. This shift will enable us to support more people across more ND conditions with care that is affordable, accessible and meets the highest clinical standards.

💫What we are looking for:

We’re hiring our first permanent Head of Product to build the product function from the ground up. You’ll set direction, create ways of working, mentor a small but growing team, and help the wider business move from reactive firefighting and “shipping features” to solving real jobs and unmet needs for the NHS, patients, families and our teams.

This is a leadership role with real influence – and it’s early‑stage. You’ll need builder energy, good judgement, and the confidence to roll up your sleeves while you shape the operating model, the team, and the craft.

😎What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create a clear product strategy that ladders to our mission, clinical model and commercial goals.
  • Turn strategy into an outcome‑based roadmap with sharp prioritisation (value, risk, effort, safety).
  • Build a pragmatic product operating model (discovery – delivery – measurement) that teams actually use.
  • Lead through influence across Tech, Clinical, Ops, Marketing and Partnerships – bringing clarity when priorities collide.
  • Put human‑centred design at the heart of product thinking: champion Jobs To Be Done, research, accessibility and neurodiversity‑aware design.
  • Be a proactive ally for design quality – from research and systems thinking to interaction and interface craft.
  • Coach, mentor and grow product managers and designers; hiring thoughtfully as we scale.
  • Move fast without breaking trust: build responsibly in a regulated environment (governance, safeguarding, patient safety, data protection).

🚀To Thrive In This Role You’ll Need

Around 8–10 years’ experience in product, including meaningful experience leading teams and shaping product strategy – but we care more about evidence of impact and leadership than a number.

Essential

  • Proven experience leading product in a scaling organisation (and improving maturity, not just output).
  • Evidence you can influence senior stakeholders and align multiple disciplines around outcomes.
  • Strong product thinking: outcome‑led roadmaps, prioritisation, clear strategy to execution.
  • Comfort building from scratch: operating model, rituals, team coaching, “doing” as well as “leading”.
  • A deep respect for users – and the ability to translate insight into shipped value.
  • A genuine belief in design as a lever for quality, trust and usability (and the ability to advocate for it).

Strongly preferred

  • Experience in HealthTech, regulated industries, or environments where safety/trust matter.
  • Familiarity with clinical or operational complexity (multiple user types, sensitive data, risk trade‑offs).
  • Experience with service design, journey‑based thinking, and/or omni‑channel care experiences.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with NHS contexts (e.g. partnerships, pathways, ICBs) or adjacent public sector systems.
  • Experience with AI‑enabled workflows or decision‑support tools – especially where governance matters.

🏆 What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)

  • A clear, aligned product strategy and roadmap that the exec team genuinely backs.
  • A functioning discovery system (research + insights + testing) that teams actually use.
  • Tangible improvements to patient/family and clinician experience – measured and visible.
  • Faster, calmer delivery through better prioritisation and clearer decision‑making.
  • A product/design team that feels supported, coached, and increasingly high‑performing.
  • Stronger cross‑functional collaboration (less handover, more shared ownership).

🙏🏻What You Can Expect From Us

  • Competitive salary
  • Hybrid working – 2x days per week in Canary Wharf and remote working in the UK
  • 30 days holiday (includes UK public holidays)
  • Team get‑togethers
  • A paid day off on your birthday
  • Office equipment when you join
  • ÂŁ500 stipend to help set up your home office
  • Pension contribution
  • Be part of one of the UK’s most ambitious HealthTech start‑ups
