We currently have opportunities for driving routes in the Baildon and surrounding area. All applicants must be flexible to work alternate weekends or one day every weekend. Shift options are:
- Mornings & Lunch: 07.00 – 14.00
- Teas & Evenings: 16.00 – 22.00
- Full Days: 07.00 - 14.00 and 16.00 - 22.00
As a Home Care Assistant with Care 24-7, you will attend clients' homes to provide all aspects of care and support in a warm, professional, kind, and caring manner. Your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care, including getting up, washed, and dressed.
- Helping with baths, showers, and going to the toilet.
- Providing hair and nail care, make-up, shaving, and oral care.
- Supporting medication management and catheter care.
- Assisting with meal preparation and eating.
- Encouraging participation in daily activities such as companionship, crafts, shopping, and light housework.
You will work in accordance with the policies and procedures of Care 24-7, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., CQC & Health and Safety at Work Act). It is essential to build two-way relationships of trust with clients, their families, and colleagues while ensuring a safe working environment.
Skills required for this role include:
- A warm, friendly, and compassionate approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Building rapport with clients and their relatives.
- Providing sensitive personal and intimate care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Completing ongoing training and attending supervision sessions.

- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
