Please note this role will commence Monday 2nd March.Role Overview The Payroll Administrator manages the end-to-end payroll process for an organisation. This role ensures accurate calculation, processing, and distribution of employee wages, benefits, deductions, and taxes, while maintaining compliance with labour laws and company policies. The Payroll Administrator serves as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and works closely with HR, Finance, and external agencies.Responsibilities Work together with other payroll administrators to process payroll for group companiesProcessing payroll on weekly/monthly basisAdministration of payroll system and data, including starters, leavers, pay reviews, allowances, absence, loan deductionsAdministration of all Attachment of EarningsAdministration of company cars as it applies to payrollProduction of monthly reports for FinanceMaintain the employee sick records including CSP and SSPPoint of call for all payroll queriesMonthly HMRC submissions of FPSPreparation of payments to all 3rd parties for AoE for FinanceYear end procedures, including P60 production and distributionLeaver procedures including issuing of P45\’sP11d production together with the Finance teamPayroll reconciliations together with the Finance teamLiaise with HR team where required re employee data (especially for new starters)Administration of Auto Enrolment Company/Group Pension SchemesSubmitting monthly returns to the pension providersNotify pension providers of new startersLiaise with pension providers re opt out/opt in choices of employeesLiaise with Finance to ensure payment to pension providers are madeEngage with pension providers re any changes to schemesAdhoc pension queries from employeesLiaise with company Finance Manager re any pension queries where requiredSet up of new startersReview of expense claims, auditingFlag claims as audited once doneYou Will Need Proven experience in similar role (4 years+ experience in Payroll/accounts department)Strong understanding of payroll related principles.Robust Microsoft Excel skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills.Employment Hero software (preferable)Document scanning & invoice approval software.We Will Provide Excellent development and progression opportunities25 days holiday, plus bank holidaysRange of Salary Sacrifice Schemes [holiday purchase, EV schemes, AVC Pension contributions]Life Assurance coverWellbeing Resources and Counselling servicesRetail & Lifestyle Discount PlatformEnhanced Family Leave ProvisionsRecognition initiatives and awardsOccupational Sick PayPrivate Medical InsurancePlease note all our roles are subject to Background, Identity & Security checks before commencement of employment.Why Join Cardo Group?
