We are currently recruiting for a Bathroom Fitter to join our team in The Midlands/North Birmingham.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Remove existing bathroom suites and prepare areas for new installations.
- Install baths, showers, toilets, basins, taps, and associated pipework to a high standard.
- Carry out tiling, flooring, plaster patching, and basic carpentry as part of complete bathroom refurbishments.
- Ensure all plumbing and sanitary installations meet current building and water regulations.
- Diagnose and repair minor plumbing issues as required.
- Work from technical drawings and specifications ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain tidy and safe working conditions, especially within occupied properties.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and respectfully with tenants.
- Complete job documentation using PDA or other digital systems.
- Report any additional repair needs or potential health and safety concerns.
- Adhere to company Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Participate in toolbox talks and relevant training to maintain high safety standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bathroom Fitter / Plumber / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent in plumbing, tiling, and finishing work.
- Experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of relevant building, plumbing, and water regulations.
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality and safety.
