We are currently looking for an Electrician to join our commercial team in Cardiff.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical repairs, installations, and system upgrades in commercial properties.
- Install and maintain a wide range of electrical systems including lighting, power sockets, distribution boards, heating systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all electrical work meets current regulations and industry standards for full compliance.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades, contractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach while on-site.
Qualifications/Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing) β preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial electrical work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of current electrical safety standards and building regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
