We are currently looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive to join our Marketing team.

As Marketing and Communications Executive, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute any external outreach, route to market, and other stakeholder marketing activity in line with the Cardo Group marketing strategy. Your pivotal role will be to drive recognition and awareness across all outward‑facing activities consistently, using the Cardo tone of voice. You will be responsible for implementing marketing promotions across various platforms, including press, social and direct channels.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Copywrite, edit and proof‑reading content for multiple channels; including website, social media, press releases, external newsletters, flyers, and offline materials.
  • Take ownership of our social media accounts; including creating content (posts, blogs, videos, and graphics), promoting activity, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Creation of case studies.
  • Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to enhance organic visibility and generate website traffic.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns/projects and provide an end of project summary.
  • Collaborate closely with in‑house or external creative and press contacts to arrange press releases and design marketing materials such as brochures, adverts, and other marketing assets.
  • Support the Marketing team in completing multiple activities and tasks as needed.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Proven work experience in marketing with a solid understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Strong copywriting skills (a minimum of 2 years’ experience).
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of organisation.
  • The ability to take ownership and accountability for projects from start to finish.
  • Sound decision‑making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise.
  • An eye for design and creative flair.

  • Highly organized and have the capability to manage various tasks simultaneously whilst prioritising workload effectively to meet expectations.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Please note this role will require site visits, so you will need to be able to travel to different sites if needed, particularly Slough.
