The Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Learning and Development Administrator to provide administrative support for training, learning, and development activities across Cardo Group.

Working closely with the Learning and Development team, HR, managers, employees, and external training providers, you will help coordinate training sessions, maintain accurate employee training records, and ensure mandatory learning requirements are monitored and completed within the required timescales.

You will play an important role in keeping our training processes organised and efficient, supporting compliance, and ensuring employees have access to the learning and development opportunities they need to succeed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and an interest in learning and development who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Learning and Development team.
  • Coordinate and schedule training courses, workshops, inductions, and development sessions.
  • Liaise with employees, managers, and external training providers to arrange bookings, confirm attendance, and share joining instructions.
  • Maintain accurate employee training records, learning histories, qualifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor mandatory training requirements and follow up with managers and employees regarding outstanding or overdue training.
  • Update and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), training databases, and internal spreadsheets.
  • Manage training-related communications, including invitations, reminders, cancellations, and completion confirmations.
  • Record training attendance, course completions, certificates, and feedback.
  • Assist with the administration of apprenticeships, professional qualifications, and other learning initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on training activity, completion rates, compliance, and upcoming learning requirements.
  • Organise training materials, resources, venues, and equipment as required.
  • Respond to training-related queries and ensure employees receive timely and accurate information.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of learning resources, processes, and administrative procedures.
  • Handle employee information confidentially and ensure training records are maintained accurately and in line with data protection requirements.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, HR, or training support role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when maintaining records and updating systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with employees, managers, and external providers.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • The ability to manage confidential information professionally and appropriately.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System or maintaining training databases would be advantageous.
  • An interest in learning and development, employee training, and supporting people to build their skills.

What We Will Provide

  • Excellent development and progression opportunities.
  • 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays.
  • Range of Salary Sacrifice Schemes, including holiday purchase, EV schemes and AVC pension contributions.
  • Life Assurance cover.
  • Wellbeing resources and counselling services.
  • Retail & Lifestyle Discount Platform.
  • Enhanced Family Leave Provisions.
  • Recognition initiatives and awards.
  • Occupational Sick Pay.

Please note that all our roles are subject to Background, Identity & Security checks before commencement of employment.
