Who We Are: Cardo Group is a social housing property maintenance company. Our multi-company group specializes in maintenance, compliance, and retrofit services with a growing national footprint. With ambitious plans for further national expansion, we are committed to making a lasting impact in the industry. We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Kingston, covering Kitchens and Bathrooms. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for providing an excellent service that is safe, effective, and efficient in delivering various projects and programs across our contracts, ensuring all works meet high-quality standards expected by our clients in an efficient and VFM manner. You will act as the company\’s representative to our clients and residents, facilitating effective communication between them and our internal teams. Building and maintaining strong relationships through honesty and transparency is key to this role. Core responsibilities involve: Working closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed within budget and timeframe. Ensuring all work complies with the programme of works and health & safety standards. Working in accordance with Building Control regulations and other statutory requirements. Following drawings and specifications. Representing the business professionally in meetings. Monitoring and achieving programme performance. Utilizing ICT systems and adhering to regulations and legislation relevant to the industry. Adapting to team needs and cross-departmental work streams. Engaging residents and keeping them informed about project progress. Developing relationships with residents, operatives, subcontractors, and authorities. Representing Cardo Group as the face of the company. Supporting resident consultation and engagement activities. Fostering positive relationships with residents and ensuring follow-up actions. Ensuring works meet PAS2030/MCS requirements. Communicating progress clearly to all stakeholders. Managing customer and resident complaints effectively. Negotiating professionally and respectfully. Maintaining documentation in line with procedures. Controlling project execution and providing structured updates to clients. Monitoring risks, program, quality, and costs. Following good project governance. Aligning with team targets. Liaising with the project coordinator for compliance. Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of site management experience. Knowledge of the social housing sector, including planned works and maintenance projects. Understanding of the construction industry. Experience in refurbishment projects. Knowledge of section 20 leaseholder consultation and housing legislation. Experience in communication with supply chain, clients, residents, and staff. Proven success in resolving complaints. Qualifications: Valid SMSTS qualification. CSCS card for site management. Recognized building/trade qualification. Asbestos Awareness Certification. Valid driving license.
