Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Floor Layer to join our team in the Cheltenham area. To be considered for this role you will need to have a good understanding of all floor types and have the ability to cap and cove.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring materials, including vinyl sheet, cap and cove and vinyl tiles and latex.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, or smoothing surfaces.
- Inspect flooring materials for defects or damage before installation.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the installation process.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
You will need:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Floor Layer.
- Ability to cap and cove.
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
