Reporting to the General Manager, the Concrete & Aggregate Shipper will play a critical part in the delivery of a professional distribution service to our customers; planning a day that meets the requirements of the customers, maximising the day for the fleet and as efficient as possible.

On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the Concrete & Aggregate Shipper will include the following (not exhaustive):

  • Contributing to the success of the team and company by providing the best offer for our customers; enhancing their experience.
  • Effectively plan and schedule the programme of works; ensuring timely delivery of orders against agreed timeframes.
  • Managing the day to day deliveries and drivers to ensure they are fully aware of where and who to go to, with any issues communicated.
  • Monitoring real time progress of scheduled orders allowing you to identify potential problem areas and proactively resolve them effectively.
  • Providing customers with progress information of deliveries, in particular immediate notification of late loads.
  • Promoting Cardinalis as a respected supplier of materials in the surrounding areas.
