The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is seeking to employ a full‑time, permanent teacher of French and Spanish for September 2026. The Governors require a highly motivated and hardworking teacher. You will join a strong, enthusiastic MFL department of close to 10 teachers. ECTs are welcome and the school offers a supportive training programme with a subject specialist mentor.
From 2023-2025 in French GCSE, 34% of pupils achieved grades 9-7 and 77% achieved grades 9-5. In Spanish GCSE, 28% achieved grades 9-7 and 76% achieved grades 9-5. We value our MFL enrichment programme: Penpal Club, Latin Club, and the annual European Day of Languages.
