The predicted salary is between 13614 - 13614 £ per year.
We welcome applications for this support post to commence as soon as possible. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- To undertake all aspects of administration in relation to the safeguarding of students, including but not limited to, the transfer of safeguarding files from High Schools, adding relevant information to CEDAR and liaising with external stakeholders to access relevant information as necessary.
- To act as a first response for safeguarding incidents as well as dealing with students, staff and parents who need to speak with the Pastoral Care Team, referring such incidents and issues on to the team promptly and as necessary.
- To provide initial, low-level pastoral support and reassurance to students as part of a triage approach, gathering information and ensuring concerns are escalated promptly to senior members of the Safeguarding Team as appropriate.
- To support safeguarding responses by locating and accompanying students on site at the request of senior members of the Safeguarding Team.
- To act as a first point of contact for phone calls related to safeguarding from reception.
The successful candidate will have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, parents, and students, and will demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and a strong dedication to the role. You should display the values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and have a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Terms and Conditions:
- Hours: 22.2 hours per week, term time only. The role will be worked over three days per week, one of which must be Friday. The remaining two days will be agreed upon appointment.
- Salary: The post will be paid at pro rata to £25,949 per annum. Actual Salary £13,614.51 per annum.
