We are looking for an Operations Coâordinator to join our team in Far Logistics (Southampton) Ltd.
Job Purpose
Accountable to the Operations Manager for the day to day running of clients' import and export requirements, ensuring procedures are followed, ensuring the department remains profitable, efficient and focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own time to best efficiency for the business.
- Monitor the systems and processes throughout the department and inform the Operations Manager of any ideas for change.
- Ensure all shipments are processed within a timely manner.
- Prompt processing of client invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPIs.
- Report any issues to the Operations Manager if they cannot be dealt with independently or will take an extended amount of time to complete.
- Ensure procedures are followed at all times.
- Interpersonally effective.
- Develop trust and respect from colleagues across the organisation.
- Identify problems early and respond in a timely fashion.
- Work with the team to find solutions.

- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring a high level of service at all times and advise the Operations Manager of any issues.
Strategic Responsibilities
Together with the management team, work towards continued improvement of systems, processes and development of the business.
