We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant/Finance Analyst to cover an absence in our Finance team. This role is temporary for 3 months.

This is a hybrid finance role with main responsibilities including assisting in the preparation and analysis of monthly Management Accounts, as well as in budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering. The candidate will also assist with the Group Audit, which is currently underway.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of the Group\’s financial statements and the excellent service the finance team provides to shareholders and the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet posting of prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets for group subsidiaries
  • Assisting the Lead Management Accountant with the consolidation of group accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Supporting external audit processes and enhancing Corporate Governance in the Finance department
  • Assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts across 30+ worldwide budget holders
  • Finance Business Partnering—providing analysis and support to budget owners
  • Contributing to the Business Intelligence initiatives and finance systems development
  • Handling VAT Returns/Submission, reconciliations, and Corporation Tax reporting
  • Supporting intercompany ledger reconciliations

Key Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified
  • Ideally from an Audit background with strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102) and familiarity with recent UK Accounting Standards changes
  • Positive attitude, proactive, ambitious
  • Ability to build trust and respect across the organization
  • Effective communication skills
