Job Purpose
Accountable to the Team Leader, processing of customs declarations ensuring procedures are followed compliantly, acting as an extension of a client's business working as a single point of contact for customs only related matters to ensure their supply chains run efficiently without delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all documents received for customs purpose contain the minimum standard of information required, to process accurately.
- Submitting customs entries in Descartes E-customs, in line with HMRC legislation in a compliant manner, working to a 2-hour turnaround from receipt for EU Traffic.
- Provide copy entry by email & record in Leda (external document retention hub) with all commercial paperwork, which acts as a client’s audit trail for record keeping purposes.
- Responsible for customs amendments, to be actioned promptly.
