We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to develop and grow our Project Department. The primary role is to develop and grow the Project department through your own portfolio of prospect accounts and utilize the existing database to achieve sales targets and objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of account strategies. This position will require the individual to work with senior‑level management. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description since it is the manager’s responsibility to develop pipelines of new business coming into the company. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions and services the company and its competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use own and existing database to source opportunities and target key accounts in the UK.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic clients.
- Develop the Project division through strategic initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency.
- Achieve assigned strategic account objectives.
- Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.
- Achieve profit growth through effective commercial management of new and existing accounts.
- Demonstrate growth on a monthly basis and achieve the targets set out.
- Generate new prospect leads and meet customers face to face, Teams/Zoom, and via the telephone.
- Follow the company sales policies and procedures.
- Implement and onboard new accounts.
- Update the CRM with records of all sales telephone calls, visits.
