We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Customs Co-Ordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our customs team. This role is accountable for ensuring all procedures are followed, maintaining profitability, and keeping the department focused on delivering high-quality service. The successful candidate will manage customs operations efficiently, ensuring timely processing of imports and exports, and fostering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage personal time effectively to optimise business efficiency.
- Monitor systems and processes within the department, and provide feedback to the Customs Supervisor on potential improvements.
- Ensure all import and export entries are completed promptly: within 24 hours of document receipt for imports and prior to container loading for exports.
- Report any issues that cannot be resolved independently or will require extended time to the Customs Supervisor.
- Adhere to company procedures and standards at all times.
- Guarantee a positive customer experience by upholding company service standards.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Exhibit interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to influence others positively.
