Domestic Assistant (Cleaner – University Accommodation)
Part‑time position at Cardiff University student accommodation.
Job Overview
We will be looking for enthusiastic, positive and reliable individuals to provide an effective cleaning service on a student residences site.
Various posts, depending on availability, ranging on average between 16 – 21 hours per week typically between 8.30am – 3.00pm, Monday – Friday.
Starting salary: £12.60 per hour.
Package includes 32 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays, pro‑rata for part‑time staff, as well as access to a range of staff discounts.
Responsibilities
- Provide an effective cleaning service on a student residences site.
- Work flexible hours; 5 days out of 7 each week, as required (typically Monday – Friday).
- Support the achievement of departmental goals.
- During arrivals / departures, conferences and other busy periods you may be required to work additional hours.
