Cardiff University is recruiting a Senior Print Services Assistant working within The Print Unit, based within the University Library Service. The Print Unit is a busy in-house creative team delivering high quality print solutions to the University across the entire campus as well as external customers. We offer a wide variety of products including wide format printing of banners, posters, and signage, as well as digital printing.
You will be working with a diverse friendly and knowledgeable team and will be responsible for undertaking a range of printing, finishing and clerical tasks. You will be supported, through training, to develop a range of print skills. You will be proactive, have good communication skills, an ability to work flexibly and respond to changing work priorities in the busy environment as well as having good IT skills and demonstrable problem-solving abilities.
As The Print Unit is part of the University Library Service, there will also be opportunities to engage in the wider work of the library service when required. The post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended. Standard working pattern: Monday to Friday.
Salary: 25,429 - 26,093 per annum (Grade 3).
You will be part of a team ensuring that the library services:
- are delivered in a customer friendly and customer focussed way, in line with the library services Customer Care Promise;
- are responsive to the changing needs of University staff, students and those of our partner NHS Health Board/Trusts;
- support the University’s teaching, learning and research programmes;
