Responsibilities
- Provide advice, guidance and support to staff within and beyond CASCADE in relation to the involvement of children, young people, parents and carers in research.
- Lead the established CASCADE Voices young people group and the Parents’ Research advisory group.
- Work on individual projects to involve those with lived experience and explore opportunities for development across the centre.
- Travel across Wales as required and be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends to meet research project needs.
- Support the public involvement infrastructure funded by HCRW.
Employment details
- Part‑time (31.5 hours per week), fixed‑term contract from 1 August 2026 to 31 March 2028.
- Salary: £33,951 – £36,636 per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time hours, Grade 5) with annual increments up to the top of the pay scale.
