Applications are invited for a Teaching and Scholarship lectureship in AI or Data Science in the School of Mathematics at Cardiff University. This position is intended to support a new suite of AI and Data Science MSc programmes that will be delivered both in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate may be required to undertake duties for which they are qualified at other locations within the University or at one of its transnational partner institutions overseas. Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver modules on taught programmes, including MSc AI or Data Science modules and supervise dissertations.
- Conduct excellent research leading to measurable outputs including publications and funding applications.
- Engage effectively with industrial, commercial and public sector organisations to raise awareness of the School.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Have teaching experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
- Can demonstrate specialist knowledge and current advancements within the fields of AI or Data Science.

Salary £41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6) or £51,753 - £56,535 per annum (Grade 7) depending on your qualifications and experience.
