The Student Advice Team, as part of the wider Student Voice & Advice department, is responsible for providing students with free, independent and confidential advice, information and guidance. We aim to support and empower students with the knowledge and understanding they need to gain positive outcomes where possible, through guidance and coaching.
The Student Adviser role will regularly engage with students in-person to provide support and advice, ensuring students are empowered with the knowledge and understanding they need to gain positive outcomes. Advice will be provided in a variety of student life, focusing on academic, housing, complaints and wellbeing.
The role will also be responsible for coordinating and supporting the student-staff employed within the Student Advice Team, ensuring students' first interactions with the service are professional and supportive, and the various campaigns overseen by the team.
