Case Study Assistant in Cardiff

Applicants should have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of translating complex information into clear and engaging content for non-specialist audiences.
• The ability to work reliably and independently while collaborating effectively with academic researchers and community partners.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Desirable criteria:

The following would be advantageous, although training and support can be provided where appropriate:

• Experience with survey data analysis, or a willingness to learn.
• Experience in video production, editing, social media content creation or digital storytelling.
• An interest in coastal environments, water quality, citizen science or recreational sea use, such as surfing, sea swimming or open-water swimming.
• Experience of, or willingness to work with, bilingual Welsh and English communication materials.
• Welsh language skills. Welsh speakers are particularly welcome to apply, although Welsh is not an essential requirement.

Working arrangements:

Some travel to coastal community workshop locations may be required. Travel costs will be covered by the project.

The role will involve some flexible working around workshop dates and content delivery timelines, so applicants should be able to accommodate occasional changes to their working schedule where required.
