We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent facilities, can seamlessly collaborate with various teams and possesses the motivation to drive up standards and safety.
Although a broad range of building maintenance knowledge and skills are desirable for the role, we have the need for someone with a carpentry background to fill the role, so that there is a broader mix of skills overall within the team.
Core responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a diverse portfolio of maintenance and minor works, such as the repair, adjustment, and replacement of door furniture and locking mechanisms.
- Installation and modification of shelving and fixed furniture.
- Upkeep of a wide range of internal fixtures including sanitary fittings (e.g. toilet seats, soap dispensers, mirrors).
- Routine maintenance of drainage systems and plant-related equipment, requiring an awareness of building services infrastructure.
