Ffurfiodd y rôl cefnogi a datblygu Systemau Ariannol y Brifysgol (Oracle EBS ar hyn o bryd), cynnig cyngor, arweiniad a chefnogaeth ac yn cyflawni bob agwedd ar waith dadansoddi prosesau busnes a systemau, cynnal a chadw a datblygu meddalwedd; gan gysylltu gyda thimau TG mewnol eraill a chyflenwyr allanol fel bo angen. Bydd y deiliad yn gweithio ym mhrofiad gwasanaeth proffesiynol i ddarparu gwasanaeth TG effeithlon ac effeithiol o ansawdd ar gyfer staff a myfyrwyr mewn gweithgareddau Corfforaethol, Gweinyddol, Ymchwil Academaidd a Dysgu ac Addysgu. Responsibilities
- Pennu, dylunio, datblygu, integreiddio, profi a dogfennu systemau mawr neu gymhleth, gan ddewis y safonau, dulliau ac offer dylunio mwyaf priodol sy\\\’n cyd-fynd â\\\’r saernïaeth busnes a saernïaeth datrysiadau a cytunwyd arnynt; sicrhau eu defnyddio\\\’n effeithiol; adolygu cynlluniau systemau eraill i wneud yn si\\cen ado bod technoleg briodol yn cael ei ddewis, bod adnoddau\\\’n cael eu defnyddio\\\’n effeithiol a bod systemau a thechnolega\\u2011au gwahanol yn cael eu hintegreiddio.
- Pennu rhyngwynebau defnyddiwr/system, gan gynnwys gwaith dilysu, cywiro gwallau, rheolau prosesu, rheolaethau mynediad, diogelwch a chyfrifon archwilio; asesu risgiau a pharatoi cynlluniau adfer a gweithdrefnau wrth gefn. Wynw i droi cynlluniau rhesymegol yn gynlluniau go iawn.
- Cynnal prosesau cymorth rhaglenni a sicrhau bod camau yn cael eu cymryd i ddelio â phob cais am gymorth yn unol â gweithdrefnau y cytunwyd arnynt; defnyddio offer ac offeriaid rheoli rhaglenni i ymchwilio i faterion, casglu ystadegau perfformiad a chreu adroddiadau.
- Rhoi cyngor ynglŷn â phob agwedd ar ddylunio a thechnoleg o fewn cylch gwaith; adolygu costau technolegau wrth gyllidebau, cyfathrebu â chyflenwyr ac ati i gynllunio buddsoddiadau. Cadw cof am ofynion gweithredu, argaeledd, amserau ymateb a diogelwch.
- Gweithio mewn timau matrics o staff ar draws y sefydliad i gyflawni datrysiadau technoleg arbennig, rhoi cyngor ac arweiniad lle bo angen; cynllunio a chyflwyno prosiectau ar raddfa fach ac ymgynghori â Rheolwyr Prosiect i gynllunio, blaenoriaethu a nodi cerrig milltir.

- Cyfathrebuâ chyflenwyr allanol a thimau mewnol ac yn gweld y gwaith o asesu a dethol pecynnau meddalwedd addas; cynllunio gwasanaethau a darparu sbardunau i gyrraedd targedau.
- Cadw at bolisïau Prifysgol Caerdydd o ran Iechyd a Diogelwch a Chydraddoldeb ac Amrywiaeth; cyflawni dyletswyddau eraill sy\\\’n gyd-fynd â\\\’r rôl.
