To provide operational support across all commercial areas including, but not limited to: Y Plas Nightclub, Great Hall Gigs, Cloakroom, Box Office, and Corporate Events. The role primarily involves serving alcoholic drinks in nightclub environments and cleaning bars to set standards. Most shifts will be evenings and late nights. There will also be the requirement to assist the facilities team in cleaning customer areas once trade has finished.
Main Duties:
- To maintain excellent customer service at all times with the aim of exceeding customer expectations.
- To ensure that all parts of the venue are clean and tidy at all times, including but not limited to, assisting the facilities team with event cleandown and undertaking weekly deep cleans of all trading areas.
- To serve all customers quickly and efficiently, meeting set departmental standards.
- To be aware of current promotions and special offers, upselling where appropriate.
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- To adhere to all licensing legislation and food hygiene policies.
- To be responsible for your own Health & Safety and observe all regulations in relation to the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- To be proactive in your approach to all tasks and duties undertaken whilst working within the Venues.
Note that this role will require working within a Licensed Premises which involves dispensing and serving alcohol to customers in a loud and fast paced nightclub/live music environment. Ear protection is provided.
Additional Duties:
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by Managers or Team Leaders.
- Help create a positive and encouraging work environment for all staff.
- To attend individual and group meetings throughout the year aimed at addressing the following: Reviewing procedures, giving ideas on improvements, performance reviews, general updates.
