The Student Voice Team in the Students’ Union ensures that every student has an opportunity to have a say in their student experience and be represented at every level. We are looking for students to support us in understanding the visibility of resources on campus that support student voice, representation, and partnership. The information provided by those who undertake the role will be used to identify patterns, barriers, and opportunities to strengthen student voice across Cardiff University.

Successful applicants will be asked, over a three-week period, to record instances across campus (whether through noticeboards, lecture shout-outs, meetings, etc.) where they notice student voice opportunities, outcomes, requests for feedback, or information regarding the impact of previous feedback. Guidance will be given to applicants upon being offered the role about what to record, and how.

Please note that this role will be approximately 2 hours per week for three weeks, between the period of Monday 6th October – Friday 24th October.

Person Specification

We are looking for applicants across all schools and all modes of study (including undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students).

This role requires students to be studying on campus this semester (at any of the university buildings), but hours are flexible around other commitments. No experience with Student Voice processes is required for this role.

Applicants must be able to take initiative and have the ability to work to clear deadlines.

Applicants are asked to include their school and year of study in their application.
