The goal of this activity is to contribute to the development of a proof-of-concept study seeking to ascertain the feasibility of using generalist large-language-models (LLMs; ChatGPT-like) to identify symptoms and features of psychosis in clinical notes.

The project is part of an accelerator program which involves researchers from the School of Medicine and the School of Computer Science and Informatics.

The main task of the research assistant would be to assist in prompt engineering and software development for mental health information processing using AI approaches.

Person Specification

We are looking for a person with proven coding skills in Python to contribute to this study. In particular, experience with machine learning and language models are desired.

Desirable but not essential criteria would be a background in computer sciences or psychology, as well as interest in mental health research.
