An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the cleaning team, which forms part of the Facilities Department. Based in the Students’ Union building on Park Place, Cardiff, the successful candidate will provide effective support to our busy department which operates 24/7.
We are looking for a part-time casual morning cleaner, who is available to work on Thursday mornings and one other morning per week, 4am – 8am. The role will cover all aspects of cleaning including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, washing, wiping, buffing, window/glass cleaning, and toilet/shower facilities.
Shift pattern: 2 shifts per week, 4am - 8am every THURSDAY morning, and one other morning, in term time.
Interviews: 12/02/26 or 13/02/26. Please clearly state your availability in your application and highlight any relevant previous experience.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role.
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:
- The ability to work alone without supervision and as part of a team.
- Able to follow instructions quickly and effectively.
- Able to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
