Main Duties:
- To deal with student/customer enquiries via email in a professional and timely manner ensuring accurate information is provided.
- To deal with student/customer enquiries via telephone in a professional and timely manner ensuring accurate information is provided.
- To use computer system and web pages to deal with student/customer queries.
- To assist with University Open Days by taking part on our information stand, greeting visitors, giving accurate/balanced information, answering questions and positively promoting Cardiff University.
- To actively participate in the Customer Care initiatives.
- To abide by university policies on Health and Safety.
- To ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in respect of equality and diversity, data protection, copyright and licensing, security, financial and other University policies, procedures and codes as appropriate.
- You may be asked to perform other duties occasionally which are not included above, but which will be consistent with the role.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with customer enquiries.
- Experience using email and internet.
- Ability to use a computer system to access/update information.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision.
