Hours: Monday to Thursday, (4 day week) 06:30 - 16:00

The Role
We are recruiting 3 experienced Welders to join a busy manufacturing and engineering operation. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality standards, ensuring all work meets production requirements and passes internal quality checks. This is a hands-on role where precision, safety, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality & Production
- Ensure correct output to build standards and process requirements
- Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to BS EN 287 welding procedures
- Complete No Faults Forward sheets and report quality issues
- Take personal responsibility for the quality of your work
- Work closely with team leaders and colleagues to meet production targets
- Support recovery programs when required
- Attend team meetings and communicate effectively
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to all tasks
- Follow all H&S procedures and use PPE correctly at all times
- Identify and report potential hazards
- Maintain good housekeeping in your working area
- Operate within company guidelines and policies
- Develop your skills and improve your job knowledge
- Be willing to work across different areas and departments as required (training provided)
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and self-discipline
- Carry out reasonable requests to support team and production needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder / BS EN 287 certified Welder
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work under production deadlines
- Flexible and team-focused approach
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Willingness to work across different areas as needed
