About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Driver Trainer to deliver high-quality driver development across multiple sites in England and South Wales. This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about driver safety, compliance, and improving operational standards. As a key member of the regional team, you'll work directly with drivers to enhance skills, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement. This role includes travel between sites, so a willingness to be on the road is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead driver induction and training programmes across multiple sites
- Deliver refresher and specialist training to improve skills and compliance
- Maintain accurate driver competence and training records
- Conduct post-incident reassessments and retraining as required
- Analyse driving performance data and provide coaching interventions
- Support continuous improvement in training delivery and operational standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience, including multiple HGV modes
- Class 1 HGV licence, DCPC, and Digital Tachograph card
- Valid ADR qualification with tanker experience
- Experience in driver training or transport roles
- Strong knowledge of driver legislation and health & safety requirements
- Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
