We are recruiting a Class 2 LGV Driver / Dust Cart Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation in the RG12 area. This is a permanent, full-time role offering stable work and competitive pay.
Key Duties- Driving a Class 2 refuse / dust cart vehicle
- Carrying out refuse and recycling collections
- Completing daily vehicle checks, defect reporting, and driver PDA entries
- Assisting with loading when required
- Driving safely on public highways and disposal sites
- Unloading at waste transfer stations and landfill sites
- Reporting missed bins, contamination, damaged bins, and side waste
- Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and compliance at end of shift
- Following set routes, safe systems of work, and H&S procedures
- Class 2 (LGV / HGV) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
- Experience as a Dust Cart Driver, Refuse Driver, Waste Driver, or LGV Driver preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible with overtime when required
- Good local area knowledge
