We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our operations team, covering London and the Southeast. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role working across commercial sites, events, and customer locations, delivering waste, water, and drainage services to a high standard.
This role would suit someone who is organised, physically fit, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable following set routes and procedures while delivering excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing:
- Completing daily scheduled routes including tank empties, water refills, and general drainage work
- Emptying large effluent tanks and refilling water bowsers
- Using water hydrants safely and correctly
- Emptying the vehicle at STW sites
- Cleaning and refreshing welfare units/cabins to a high standard
- Supporting large-scale events with servicing requirements
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring PPE is worn at all times
- Keeping the van clean, tidy, and roadworthy
- Liaising with the office regarding job progress or issues and following all service procedures
- Assisting with additional yard or service duties when required
- Maintaining excellent customer service and promoting a positive image of the business
- Driving safely at all times and adhering strictly to health & safety requirements
What we're looking for:
- Full UK driving licence (van driving experience preferred)
- Aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Good organisational and routing skills
- Smart, tidy appearance and professional attitude
- Ability to take direction and complete a full day's work
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service
