Looking for a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same? We are recruiting a HGV Driver & Multi-skilled Technician who enjoys practical, high-impact work and isn't afraid to get stuck in. This is an ideal role for someone with Class 2 driving experience and a background in groundworks, remediation, or multi-skilled technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, including tankers
- High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups
- Groundworks, remedial works, and tank uplifts
- Tank/interceptor installation, servicing, and inspections
- Spill response and industrial cleaning duties
- Supporting emergency response teams as needed
- Training to national grid & rail standards
Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 licence (ADR preferred but not essential)
- Experience with RAMS documentation
- Knowledge of tachograph and vehicle checks (training can be provided)
- Flexible, can-do attitude; overtime and occasional call-outs required
- Multi-skilled trade background; plant operation experience is a bonus
- Willingness to work away from home when required (hotels & travel covered)
