An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Shift Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a leading UK waste and recycling operation in Horsham. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a forward-thinking engineering team focused on plant reliability, continuous improvement, and high safety standards.
You will be responsible for maximising plant availability by carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and continuous improvement projects. Working within a shift-based engineering team, you will ensure high operational standards, compliance, and health & safety best practice at all times.
- Deliver high plant availability and efficient breakdown response
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective electrical repairs
- Carry out minor maintenance on plant and equipment
- Liaise with external contractors where required
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) essential
- Experience within industrial, plant, or heavy engineering environments
- Proactive, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a shift team
