We are looking for a Technician Demonstrator with skills and expertise in creative applications of print and textile techniques to complement our excellent technical provision.
The technical team, and the workshops, studios and resources they manage are key to CSAD’s student experience.
The technical team manages CSAD’s technical provision, deploying the School’s equipment and space in a system that ensures fairness and enhances safety, whilst promoting creativity, student-centred learning and initiative.
You will have a sound knowledge of traditional and contemporary fabric printing techniques as well as a thorough knowledge of digital design and production techniques including the use of Photoshop® and Illustrator®.
You’ll lead the way by
- Supervising creative processes and practices to facilitate student learning.
- Demonstrating techniques and processes.
- Coordinating requirements and purchasing materials and equipment.
- Developing own skills and knowledge to support the student experience.
- Ensuring safe practice through implementation of the School’s Health and Safety policy.
