As part of our Marketing, Communications & Student Relationship team, you’ll help shape how we connect with future students locally, nationally and internationally. You’ll play an active role in delivering student recruitment activity that supports our strategic aims, objectives and student recruitment targets. This role is offered on a 0.6 FTE basis (22.2 hours per week), working Wednesday to Friday, with potential for future flexibility. The role is primarily campus and field-based, requiring regular travel across the UK.
You’ll Make a Difference By:
- Creating and building meaningful relationships with feeder schools and colleges within your region, helping to grow applications to the University.
- Designing and delivering engaging, creative presentations that bring higher education to life to a range of audiences.
- Contributing to and shaping our annual communications plan, including developing compelling digital content and newsletters that tell our story.
- Designing, organising and delivering recruitment events that are welcoming, inclusive and memorable.
What You’ll Bring:
- Knowledge of the Higher Education application process (UCAS), including available study routes, support for applicants, and Cardiff Met’s programme portfolio, alongside relevant experience in marketing or engagement-focused roles.
- Experience of delivering effective presentations to groups of varying sizes.
- The ability to design and build e-newsletters.
- Good digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- A full driving licence.
