This opportunity is only available to current employees and students at the University. At Cardiff Met, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming, supportive and positive experience to our students, staff and visitors. As our Estates Administrator, you will play a key role in helping us deliver this experience by providing high quality customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our estate services. The role involves a wide range of administrative, financial and front of house services, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with external contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders for the completion of maintenance works.
  • Providing administrative support to the department including invoice processing, purchase orders and related financial documentation.
  • Advising and supporting staff on any matters relating to Estates services.

What You’ll Bring

  • With experience of working in a customer focused environment, you’ll bring confident communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with a wide range of people.
  • You’ll be experienced in working with administrative and financial systems.
  • Ideally, you will also have the experience of working within an Estates, Campus Services or Maintenance Team.
  • You’ll have a knowledge and understanding of MS Office packages.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills.
  • Preferably have knowledge of health and safety legislation.
