You’ll Lead The Way By
- Assist the lead Swimming Teacher with the planning, delivery of engaging and progressive sessions in the Learn to Swim programme, school swimming programme and intervention programme.
- Ensure the needs of swimmers are met within a dynamic and inclusive environment by acting as an Ambassador for Aquatic Programmes at Cardiff Met Sport.
- Act as assistant teacher in swimming lessons and support the lead Swimming Teacher to ensure that comprehensive teaching plans are followed and delivered according to the relevant framework.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll use your previous experience of working within an aquatic environment and understanding of the importance of customer care to provide an outstanding service to our swimming participants. Your knowledge of industry standards and national governing body policies will ensure that our Aquatics programmes are both safe and of the highest standards.
Additionally You’ll Have
- A recognised Level 1 in Teaching Aquatics:
- SEQ Level 1 Swimming (Assistant) Teacher.
- STA Level 1 Award in Teaching Swimming.
- Superb team working skills, able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for participants.
- Experience working with customers and parents.
