Technician Demonstrator in Programmable and Digital Technologies

We are looking for a Technician Demonstrator with expertise and skills in creative applications of programmable technologies to complement our excellent technical provision.

The technical team, and the workshops, studios and resources they manage are key to CSAD’s student experience.

The technical team manages CSAD’s technical provision, deploying the School’s equipment and space in a system that ensures fairness and enhances safety, whilst promoting creativity, student‑centred learning and initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising creative processes and practices to facilitate student learning.
  • Demonstrating techniques and processes.
  • Coordinating requirements and purchasing materials and equipment.
  • Developing own skills and knowledge to support the student experience.
  • Ensuring safe practice through implementation of the School’s Health and Safety policy.
  • What you’ll bring

  • Ability to deliver workshop activities in virtual as well as physical spaces.
  • Clear communication skills – You can explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to support students and colleagues.
  • Team‑oriented approach – You work well with others, meet deadlines, and contribute to shared goals.
  • Ability to solve technical problems creatively.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of relevant health and safety issues.
