As Men's Rugby Physiotherapist you will have the responsibility for the development and delivery of medical services to the Men's BUCS Super Rugby (MBSR) and the WRU Premiership teams. Working within the men's rugby programme, the role will also work closely with the women's rugby physio and wider Performance Services Team and Head of Performances to collaborate, access and support CPD and develop the provision.

You'll play a key role in:

  • Acting as a primary medical liaison with the Head of Performance Rugby, Men's Head Coach, Premier Head Coach and Head of Performance Services to understand and meet the needs of the relevant programmes.
  • The planning and administration of a robust physio provision for the Cardiff Met Men's performance programme.
  • Leading the delivery of a detailed physiotherapy provision for the Men's performance teams, utilising the wider MDT, academic staff, and the student workforce to supplement the delivery of services.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of working as a physiotherapist within a rugby environment.
  • Experience of pitch side physio support, particularly in a rugby setting.
  • Experience of assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
