This opportunity is only available to current employees and students at the University. As our Estates Administrator, you will play a key role in helping us deliver this experience by providing high quality customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our estate services.
The role involves a wide range of administrative, financial and front of house services, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues and visitors. Key responsibilities also include:
- Liaising with external contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders for the completion of maintenance works.
- Providing administrative support to the department including invoice processing, purchase orders and related financial documentation.
- Advising and supporting staff on any matters relating to Estates services.
What you’ll bring: With experience of working in a customer focused environment, you’ll bring confident communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with a wide range of people. You’ll be experienced in working with administrative and financial systems. Ideally, you will also have the experience of working within an Estates, Campus Services or Maintenance Team.
Additionally you’ll:
- Have a knowledge and understanding of MS Office packages.
- Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills.
- Preferably have knowledge of health and safety legislation.
