Responsibilities
We’ll lead the way by:
- Assisting the Lead Coaches of Hockey and the wider Cardiff Met Junior Sport team in delivering high‑quality Hockey coaching.
- Supporting participants and athletes in developing all elements of Hockey across a range of age groups.
- Assisting in teaching and refining Hockey skills for various games (e.g., dribbling, shooting, goalkeeping).
- Collaborating with the Lead Coach to develop and refine training programmes, providing feedback on what works well and what could be improved.
What you’ll bring
You’ll use your previous experience of coaching and working within a sport coaching environment and understanding of the importance of customer care to provide an outstanding service to our Hockey participants. Your knowledge of industry standards and national governing body policies will ensure that our Hockey programmes are both safe and of the highest standards.
Additionally you’ll have:
- Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or above) in Hockey.
- Superb team‑working skills, able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for participants.
- Experience working with customers and parents.
