The Pre-Birth Team is a small, specialist team that has developed since 2017 with the main aim to ensure appropriate planning during the pre-birth stage. Our Pre-Birth Team sits within Intake & Assessment. Intake and Assessment is a fast paced and exciting team. Due to Cardiff’s demography the work is diverse and progressive. Practitioners hold cases for a short period of time; long term work is generally transferred at the first planning meeting.

About the job

Due to the nature and complexity of the work, you would carry a caseload between 10-15 cases and work with the families until point of transfer.
